A message from the artist...

It all started with a skinny stick and a question,  “Why stop here?”

Hand embroidery drew me in with its meditative stitches, where I was met with an embroidery hyperfixation surrounding ways to display my pieces. Must embroidery hoops be the end all, be all? Surely my stitches could transform beyond an embroidery hoop?

I began to Think Outside the Hoop. 

My hope is that this new method of displaying your embroidery inspires you to test the boundaries of your creativity, toss out any questions of self-doubt, and take part in the freeform fun of embroidered tapestries.
